CCI TV is the television channel for the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Portsmouth. On Friday 27 April at 2pm they will be broadcasting live from Portsmouth’s oldest building for ‘The Wymering Manor Investigation’.
Wymering Manor is reputedly one of Britain’s most haunted houses, and although much of the current building was constructed in the 1500s, its history dates back to before the Norman Conquest. Dark Encounters, whose ghost walks and paranormal investigations were a popular part of last year’s Portsmouth DarkFest programme, often hold events in the manor – the next one will be on 23 May.
In ‘The Wymering Manor Investigation’, students from the university’s BSc Television and Broadcast course will be exploring the building’s history and revealing the results of their overnight stay in the manor.
